These books are so wonderfully written! Found myself skimming the pages a bit about halfway thro. Look forward to reading the nest two. Love historical fiction so I was drawn to the setting and plot from the start. It seemed like there wasn’t that much substance or buildup within the main characters relationship and then suddenly, at the end, the story gives you what you really want which is to read more about them.
